Big Thanks to Jason

Postby macatak » Sun Jul 01, 2007 7:15 pm

I can't say enough about Jason and his touch with the 2'S

When he did the Red '2 last year he got as close to the TRD settings as he could given the limited adjustment available with the stock springs, totally changed the handling dynamics. The car became much easier to drive day to day and far more precise and responsive during sporting driving. Something I really noticed on the Ocean Shores run!

Last week was the SC's turn
I have not had a lot of opportunity to explore it's limits, but it is noticeably more stable, does not seem to tramline at all any more and, following his advice to lower the tire pressures to allow the tires to work a bit more, has made a huge difference in the ride and how well the rear end bites
on exit.
Agine, a BIG Thanks to Jason. great guy who does great work

LOL, toe adjusters from hell?? been there before!!
I had a set of new tubes with me when I arrived, PB Blaster'd them twice in the week before I went in
left side was no problem but the bent inner arm on the right one snapped inside the tube when Jason tried to get the tube off, probably better then
than on the road
so, now I have a nice new right inner tie rod to go with my nice new alignment

Just called Dale's. Jason was not in so I did NOT mention anything about the club or the deal. I did ask how much an alignment cost, as well as tires, and wheel balancing, etc.. etc.... For the regular public (Note: I did NOT ask about any club deals), they charge $89.95 for an alignment. Considering the testimonials they have, i'd say that isnt a bad deal. I'm sure the deal with Jason is still going on, but I'll have to find out when I can speak to him and only him, personally.

As far as tire prices go, still found tire trends a better bet.

I wonder if Jason will give you a better price though if you talk to him? Not to haggle him, but when you get a hold of him, maybe ask Jason and see what he offers. I spoke to him years ago about tires and he said they could be pretty competitive, but that was just he and I talking not the other people there.
