Cold Start Issue - 91 Turbo

Postby Br3nnan » Mon May 26, 2014 12:17 pm

Hi Guys!

I have a 1991 Turbo MK2, Canadian with now only 70K on it but recently it has started being a pain to start in the mornings only, seems to be if it sits for a few days. Once it's mid day and the temperature is warmer it does not have any problems. Once it starts there is no problem however sometimes in the morning it will start and have extremely low RPMS to the point of almost stalling then it will pickup and idle normally, other times it will turn over and over and not start almost like it's getting no fuel.

About 2 years ago now I replaced all plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor (all oem), but it did not have this problem until recently. It's probably something simple, was hoping for someone with a similar problem so I do not throw money at sensors and electronics!
