You're really going to become blind man. The only advice I can give now is, make sure you always put on a pair of sunglasses every time you open the door to save your vision.

That dashboard is a work of art - as much light as you want with no dead spots.

Slightly off-topic: Joe, any ideas why my door lights don't turn on when the doors are opened? Or the dome lights? Not sure if you noticed or anything, but any guesses would be great :)

reverse eh? thats a plush idea. I cant wait to do it to the interior dome light. im currently busy wrapping the stock metal intercooler-TB pipe with aluminum wrapped fiberglass heat tape, to lessen heat soak.

Then its install some LEDs. I picked up more LEDs for the truck today, two 10" strips just isnt enough for lighting :D

Holy smokes, that's insane!

That board is double the size compared to mine upgrade, and yeah II thought about putting them in the reverse lights place as well..that was after I installed the LEDs bulbs there of course though.

Planning on putting something in the foot area of the cabin?
I've thought about it when I looked at my brothers 240sx, I'm planning on tucking an LED bar down there.

LED Mods

Postby dRebel » Wed Jan 25, 2012 5:03 pm

Cool stuff man! Couple questions, where did you get those blocks of LED for the dome lights?
And does the dimmer dial still function for the dash lights? The previous owner of my car put LEDs behind the dash and my dimmer doesnt work..? I find it too bright, I'm temped to put stock green lights back in there if I can't dim these LEDs :/ people always comment on my how cool blue dash lights look, I always respond that I just wish they were the original green! maybe I'm just getting old lol
