6.5 components in the front

Are you sure the rears aren't 3.5" instead of 4's?

I've got an appointment next Tuesday for a sound eval, they already told me only 5.5" will fit and I had 6.5" in my hardtop. Guess I'll have to twist some arms. Though I'm an Alpine man, I was looking at Infinity just for a change. Their home speakers are to die for.

With Alpines I could not fit Alpine Type R 6.5", I had to settle for the 5.25"

Was the problem fitting the 6.5" because of depth or diameter?

I managed to fit my 6.5" JL's, but I had to space them out by about a 1/2".

Yes, actually I did need to do a little bit of trimming, but it was pretty minimal.
