PM in OUTBOX, but not SENT?

I thought I sent a PM to another user. I noticed the PM is sitting in my OUTBOX but not in my SENT box. Did it go out or am I missing something? What else must I do?

Hi there,
I have not sent a message for a long time.
I checked and my messages, they are either in my "in "box or my "sent" box.
I am thinking your message did not go out.
You could try again, possibly missed a step.
Or someone with more insight may be able to help ?

I think it goes into the sent box once the other person reads it. If it's about that 86 for sale he only has one post. I'd be surprised if he ever comes back to check.

Yes, it's about that 86 MK I. I tried another PM but it too ended up stuck in the OUTBOX. I must be missing something real easy. I select user, write message and hit submit. What else is there?

It's in your outbox still because he hasn't read it yet. With one post on two months I'd guess he won't be back. Better off checking craigslist for an MR2.
