I was thinking about it Russ, but I've got family over for the holiday.

Think I prefer the solid spoke of the A1s, but the profile shape of these looks a little more aggressive.
Regardless, the MKII sure needs a wheel upgrade to look sharp.
Really like the black mirrors now, but still think that spoiler's just gotta go! ;)

I like these GT1s so much I'm contemplating selling most of my A2 collection (I think I have 3 sets). The concave twin spoke design certainly updates the car, SSR had it right decades ago.

And the black wing definitely stays, love it. Too much of one colour is not a good thing, need to break it up a bit and black is the ticket (thank the stars the whole car isn't black :silly: ).

Keep me posted, I'd be interested in some A1s - specifically the 7.5/8.5" set.

Hopefully it doesn't take long before you come to your sense about the spoiler!

A2s don't come in those widths, I only have 16x7/8 and 17x8/9, they may already be spoken for.

My senses are fine on the wing, it's certain others with nonsensical issues (and car boards too). :P

The new wheels look great! Loving the concave in the rear.

I want some unicorn GTR face Advan RG's for the rear of my car :(

My custom made, OEM correct, pinstripes for my 89sc restoration project. The colour is a bit off but from 2 feet and out it's almost impossible to tell. I really dislike the aftermarket stripe kits which is 3 separate stripes that are sometimes too wide or spaced too far apart. They can also be scratched off easily since it's not one piece of clear tape with the stripes printed on it. I couldn't find anyone local who could screenprint the stripes onto a clear strip so I used a company in Edmonton. Other than the paint these stripes are the next most expensive thing I bought for this car!

Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of my recently purchased 18x9 SSR GT1 wheels - took me a year to find them.

Mounted 275/35-18 w/ 235/40-17 fronts. Big guns for sure, not especially performance oriented, but with 3 other lighter forged wheel sets in my keep I don't really care. Definitely fun to look at. They actually fit under the rear wheel well better than the 275/40-17s before them. Sidewalls match up now, very proportional.

Glad I'm back to double-staggered, SW20s scream for that.

Nice wheels Pete! I'm all about being stock but those look good. I was able to dig up an old post of yours for a guy, Rick Miller, who did upholstery. He recently fixed a cloth seat for me for 1/3 the cost of other quotes. Now he's going to try to find a suitably stock appearing leather to redo my 89 seats.

And I also had my pinstripe colour adjusted. Looks pretty bang on now.

That does look good, Dan. You sure you don't have OCD? :P

Well, I'm glad Rick worked out for you. He didn't for me, though his initial work/fitment was excellent. I was promised automotive-grade cloth when he did some work for me; less than a year later the seats were fraying. No, I don't wear sandpaper pants; everything I own is in good shape & I know how to minimize wear. So I don't know what the deal is. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm still using the leather seats I bought off of you some years back.
