1) Clean my Engine Bay
2) Few new additions to the engine bay
3) Instal my new (OEM) Tach
4) Get my tires mounted onto my stock wheels again
5) Maybe some new speakers...

Hi, i'm new to these forums.

Thought i'd start with this

My winter project was fixing my blown head gasket, blew it out on new years. Now looking to a cut out cat (haha, no aircare in prince george! 8)) And soon to get my engine running properly again. I have a vacuum leak, basically the vsv that does the t-vis is broken and is just one big leak, and became ultra apparent to me when i burnt 3/4 only by doing something like a 150 to 180 kilometer trip. Also looking to maybe swap in a manual tranny by summer (i have the auto box :'()

Hope all you guys have success with your various projects

Well since my engine let go shortly after installing my new gt3071r combo kit from ats racing this summer, needless to say my list is pretty long. As for what i'm going to do, i dont know yet. All i do know is that it's gonna be a forged bottom end, hks cams and gears, better valves and springs, and possibly a pfc. I dont know if i'll get a re tune from ats. I'm open to any suggestions that anyone might have as for i've never done anything like this before.

Damn, that's a pretty intensive list, and it sounds like a lot of good upgrades.

Martin,
it's polished stainless, major PIA to keep clean.
that's mostly just dust and a dry cloth.
not nearly as bad as the heat shield on the dizzy, that one is just pointless
but i know it's there
I'm going to have to give it a good polish and then get some wax on it.
same as the strut bar
otherwise, I'll be doing this :BangHead: every time I open the lid

and it all started because the front crank seal was leaking
