I replaced the brushes and diode assembly in my alternator as they were shot. Tested them out first and sure enough one diode was dead. Well I should say TRYING to replace, have yet to find a diode assembly that's a perfect fit.

Also cleaned up my engine bay, tucked the wires for the oil pressure and temperature gauges away from the coolant lines as best as I could, mounted the boost controller to the flange on the afm, routed the boost lines, and mounted and installed the catch can and lines. Bay looks much cleaner now!

KO uses flat bar stock welded to the exhaust and a single bolt through the stock rubber
bushings on the body side to mount their exhausts. They also add a flange (V band clamp would work as well) right after the flex pipe before the cross member
to make the removal, installation and alignment a lot easier than the oem system.
you can see them in the pic's on KO's site.

Well, we managed to fab up a turbo stay and get the alternator back together with a brand new rectifier and brushes, and I've now put ***200*** kms on the engine already. It pulls hard, and runs smoothly. It's stock boost and plenty of accelerating/decelerating and heating up/cool down cycles to ensure all the rings and gaskets seat properly. After 1000 kms, it will be changed over to synthetic oil, coolant will be flushed (running water currently), and then I can turn the boost up a bit.

Tomorrow I'm taking it to work to put all the underbody panels back on and the front lip, and detail the poop out of it. I'm in the process of selling my 240, so once it sells, the MR2 will be my daily once again :)

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rds/c ... 35396.html

It might actually be 3 different white MKII's all in one ad :?

She has chrome rims on hers, unless she changed them, she also has a Toms rear bumper, etc.

Whoever put that post up is an idiot. It is 3 different cars. One even has the 94 tails, and all 3 pictures have different wheels and lights etc. Lazy, go take your own pictures. Or it is a scam, I can't believe someone would do that, because it looks so fishy that they will hardly get any calls.

Sarah you should call him cause he posted his number

I remember an ad very similar to that, the green flake in the paint stood out. There were different pictures of it when I saw it a couple months ago, maybe the guy lost his pictures  Still, I like how he's selling an NA and all the pics are Turbos (I assume).

I texted him and told him the first pic is my car and to take it down. I haven't seen any results yet, I flagged it but I can't say why I'm flagging it so nothing happens. Freaking idiot.

Needs to be flagged by multiple IP addresses, so everyone flag it and it will go down.
