Effortlessly my ass! Getting a car that is NOT on the RIV ban list into Canada isn't effortless, so I'd really like to know how he is planning this.

I can help you with registration tips on importing this car into Canada effortlessly. Meanwhile, own a one of kind, street legal race car that EVERYONE will notice.

Not sure how legit having it registered in WA is...
I would assume you had to be a american.. or spend 75% of your time in WA to be using it..

Hi Cam:

The car can be sold only to a US registering buyer. Many Canadians have addresses in WA and that's what you need to get WA plates. The car is available but can not be registered in BC.

Please let me know if youd like to take a look.

I think it was the same with the first generation Audi TT. The bumper (front) did not pass the 5Kmh crash test.

The difference is that Audi wanted to sell this car in Canada and changed the bumper design to accommodate the Canadian Test where TOYOTA decided it was not worth the money to invest in the change as they did not foresee a huge buying market here.

...interesting. But you think they could have designed the car to sell in all of the major north american and european markets, knowing what the standards are. Like you say, must not have been worth the cost to design for the canadian market.
