is there a part number for the supercharged muffler? I am seeing two different listings on 1st Toyota Parts.com. One is higher than the other by like 10 dollars. Also it was mentioned earlier that the chrome tailpipe things have to be ordered seperatly from Toyota. Does anyone have the part number or know where I can get those as well?

Thanks Again!

1sttoyota does list 2 mufflers, but if you read the description on the next line it says "MR2, Supercharger" or "MR2, Standard". The SC muffler lists for $240.08, but it's at least another $5 cheaper if you call Aaron at Lithia Toyota.

So I spoke with Aaron at Toyota. He reffered me to the this link: http://www.lithiatoyotaparts.com. The current price for the Toyota -MUFFLER FOR SUPERCHARGED 88-89 MR2. Is 255.64, plus an additional 18.78 for shipping due to size. Additionally he stated that the POLISHED TIPS ARE DISCONTINUED AND NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS MUFFLER.

I asked if it would be possible for another dealer to have the tips in stock from a canceled special order and he said no. So I am planning on ordering the muffler. Does anyone have a couple of spare tips that they would sell me? Or does anyone know of some tips that look like the OEM ones?

Thoughts/Advice/Suggestions always welcomed!

Thanks,
Teal

Just look around for some generic tips since the chances of finding some in good condition are probably pretty slim.
