I'm trying to get some of the partsmen I know at dealers to hook me up with some filters for our cars to test.
I'll let you know how it works out... Dodge says they'll give me a Mopar filter, but haven't yet... Same with Honda and whatever they use... I'll do some more harassing tomarrow...

it seems like theres a general concensus that the 90915-yzzf1 (made in usa) filter that you are testing is of lesser quality than the 90915-10004 ( made in japan ) i might order a couple of these altho they are very pricey, 8$ + shipping each

I'd be curious as to what other major manufacturers are using as OEM filters, Honda, Nissan, GM, Ford, etc. and how they compare to Toyota.

TRD US oil filter or TRD Japan oil filter?
Stick with OEM Toyota filter. IT IS BETTER!!

You just saved me some cash, I was going to do that comparison
It'd be interesting to put one of the OEM Denso filters against a YZZ one. Maybe I'll try and track one down.
