Ha, ha, that was pretty funny.
I would like to see if it actually did much of anything. Unfortunately, I think an awful lot of the air bubbles he was creating were simply from the massive vibration of the sidewall of the bucket, and not so much the miniture cavitating type throughout the solution that an actual ultra sonic cleaner would produce. But I definitely got give him credit for a humorous video. If ultra sonic cleaners were that easy to manufacture I would imagine the average prices would be just a tad lower.
That being said, I've had one for a couple of years now, and while it is a bit of a hassle to use (warm-up, noise, etc.), and its capacity is not as large as his bucket, it has proven to be very effective. The only real problem is that decent ones of any real useable size are rather expensive $$$$, and the proper solutions are not all that cheap either. I have tried some of the home made solutions that some people swear by, and they are fine for simple stuff like grease, etc. However, if you really need scale/rust/oxidation removed you're going to need something just a tad more efficient. I've got one that I use which not only cleans and removes oxidation, etc. but also brightens parts a bit, which is very helpful.
