Long delay but here is the parts post and video.
If you are thinking of a k20 swap into the MR2, I recommend that you watch this video on NA or FI, what part to upgrade depending on the type of k20, etc.
https://youtu.be/TsKfCCVIv-QI went with a k20a2 from a 2003 Acura RSX typeS to swap into my 1993 MR2 turbo using the e153 transmission.
Reasons why I went with this motor are:
-cable operated throttle body
-strong internals, very thick cylinder wall sleeves compared to the other k20's
-minor upgrades to stock long block for big power (ex: valve springs and timing chain tensioner)
-the k20a2 has the best flowing head
You can also use the k24a2 motor from a TSX which is 2.4L for more torque.
There is a Frankenstein builds like a k24 bottom end with a k20a2 head.

http://afhkparts.com/shop/kswap-honda-p ... package-3/I used the E153 transmission because it is built to handle high hp and tq. (+-650). I also replaced both axle shaft seals.
Below are the part numbers and fluid:
Passenger side seal 90311-40004
Drivers side seal 90311-50027 (large in size compared to the pass. side)
3.5L of redline MT90
