out of chassis engine reseal =project creep

My winter project included rebuild of steering rack, new tierods and balljoints.
Decided to take a look at the Tbelt before driving.
Bad news belt was missing1/3 of its width.
Decided to drop the engine to a proper job, good thing I did!
Long story short, replaced all front end and rear main seals, pulled head to change oil leaking headgasket, (also noticed #1 cyl.bore ready to leak) and pulled transaxle to replace the clutch.
Of course many other normal little things to be fixed along the way like Turbo/manfold gasket etc.
Most of these repairs could be considered normal maintenance items for the mileage, 160k
Engine has never been touched before except an in chassis Tbelt at 60k.
