Hey Guys,

This is my 89' MR2 SC. I bought the car approx 6 years ago from a private seller in Burnaby. It's originally a California car, and had 137,000 miles when I bought it. It now sits at 146,000 miles. It is literally a Sunday driver. Other than taking it out 8-10 times per year, it sits in a garage under a car cover!

Recent work done:

-Front/rear bumpers removed and re-painted
-Pass side mirror re-painted (need to do drivers...faded)
-New factory SC muffler
-New rad
-Cap/rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs

Mods:

-Coilovers
-New ASA rims with new Fuzion 195 50 15 ZR's
-1' spacers in the rear

The car is basically stock other than the mods listed. Future plans are major maintenance: timing belt, water pump, tensioner, valve cover gasket, front/rear main seal, oil pan gasket, etc. I have all the parts, just need to install them. I absolutely love this car and live for the days when I take it out for 4-5 hours and just...smile.

Nice. Jeez, I wonder if it's my old SC. I sold it to a fellow in Burnaby and it was originally a US car too - miles seem about right as well. Last I heard he was in Calgary and didn't have time to drive it.

Sorry to hear that. There's a whole 'nother thread about that going on now on this board. :P

Yeah, you and me both. It was one long decision I made to sell mine - took me a year to make it. Still love the car, so special. But finding parts for it was killing me.

Beautiful car, great choice of wheels.
Keep it under cover when not driving and enjoy it as much as you can, remember they are not making anything like this car anymore.
You are preserving the mark.

Thanks for the compliments guys. When the weather is nicer I'll put a permit on it and swing out to one of your coffee meets.
