Dragged some buddies out for the first time out with the MR2. I took some HDR shots. You may recognize some of the cars from Revscene or other clubs... Enjoy?

They are actually 1920x1080 shots but you get the idea. If any of you guys know a good spot for a photo shoot let me know, We can even go check out it together and maybe take a mini shoot while we are there. FYI though, Im a n00b and do not own a DSLR, these were done with a Panasonic Lumix LX3.

Thanks ^_^

We can talk about it more @ the coffee meet. I pretty much just use a small camera, a tripod, and Photoshop/Photomatix.

I recognize the Scion! :O But then, who could forget that crazy wheel poke, lol.

Car looks good! Methinks some lowering springs and a lip would make it sexier, but that's just me :P

Nice shots, almost looks like the cars were photoshopped in, and the last one I thought it was a paint job not the reflections! Very cool.

My buddy takes his xB to most of the revscene and scion meets... plus he attends the openroad sponsored events i believe. His car is pretty wacky so most people remember it haha.

ZerA - The PO had a openroad license plate frame so its possible.

Pearl - The pics look abit weird since they've been compressed, the fullsize pics look alot smoother and the cars look like they belong there lol. The Nissan did reflect alot for some reason. It looks like he has a nice mirror finish even though his car was dirty haha.

Edit - almost forgot... Kaku, Im not a fan of front lips but have been considering suspension work. Koni shocks and maybe some TRD springs or 93+ ones most likely. Stock suspension feels ok for now.

It'll feel a heck of a lot better if you can get some more wheel/tire out back. Those look like 17x7s all around.

Most likely they are =_=

running 205/215s ... I wanna stick some Enkei RPFs on it and run 215/235s... All in good time. If i find something else for a good price with the right offsets then I may change my wheel choice.

HDR makes the pictures look pretty bad.

Post up the originals, probably look way better.

My buddies took some pics too. I was the only one equipped to do HDR shots plus I personally like them.

I quickly just put this pic together. On the left side is an adjusted HDR and on the right is a normal un-adjusted shot. I could've made the right side look a little better through photoshop but I wanted to show the difference.

Bought some damaged 94+ tails from a friend for $200. I showed a few people during the meet. Anyways, they are now repaired/installed and I even tried painting the red center piece with plasti-dip. Total cost = $215 ... still need to replace some bulbs that blew out for some reason :?

Went for a little drive last night to test the car cam. During the drive I found a nice spot to pull over and take some pics while reviewing the footage. I think maybe i should have positioned the car a little differently but oh well...
