I'm already dying with anticipation for my 94 tails. And it's only Sunday :(

Another couple quick questions. Where can I get a 93 lip other than the dealer? I've seen a couple people selling them on the MR2 Board but their threads are rather old. I guess I can buy the retainers from Lithia. And are the side skirts from a 91 the same as a 93/94, minus the color? If they are, I'd just paint them white to match the lip. Not interested in aftermarket stuff, even though they do look nice.

Side skirts? You mean the rockers? I think they're part of the frame, as in sheet steel. They should be the same on all years except for paint.

As for the lip, you could always go for a Holylip (God, I hate that name). Looks very much like a '93 lip, maybe a touch more aggressive. But at $265 plus shipping from the States and all the hassle that goes w/ it, you might be better off buying an OEM lip at about $235 and going w/ Joe's Spring GB on the front bumper cover. He should be able to fit that into his Rav4.

If you're interested in the way the Holylip looks, you might want to look into the Aeroware they are almost identical but the Aeroware lip hangs lower.

I've seen both the holylip and aeroware, and I like them, but I'm trying to keep the exterior of my car as OEM as possible.

I'll ask Joe about adding a lip to his group buy :P

Yeeee booyyyy, when are you at school again? I got an exam Thursday at 4 and another Friday morning at 8:30?

I also need a favour to ask. Can someone buy this GReddy SP for me and hold it until I get enough funds to pay you?

http://www.mr2.com/forums/mk-2-parts-fs ... urbos.html

It's near the bottom of the post, GReddy SP with custom B-pipe. I know it has dings, but Joe said they're long discontinued and I really want one. I'll have the money for it in January. If you think that I should wait a bit more for another one in better condition to pop up, let me know, as I'm sure you've been in the MR2 scene a lot longer than I have and know just how rare this exhaust is. Somebody help a poor kid out D:

I don't think you should be buying parts if you cannot afford them at the moment, not to be harsh or anything (even though credit cards enable you to do so). It's better to save up then spend, even if it'll cost more if you wait.

Think about it this way, why rush? They are discontinued but I do see them pop up for sale, and perhaps you can get the original B-pipe with it in the future.
I'm sure this is your hobby like for the rest of us, enjoy it and don't let it bring you down into debt. :P
