You won't be sorry with those. One of the best investments I've made, pair them with a set of Koni yellows and you are golden.

That's what the general word on the street has been :D I have some pretty new KYBs in though, so once those need replacing Konis are going in straight away. No point in tossing aside perfectly good struts, right? :P

+1

Now put your old springs in that box and tell them you got that instead, you just might get another set of TRD springs. :P

Wanna bet? That's a few years of compromise, too long for me. Cost-wise, I'll admit it's stupid, performance-wise it's smart. If you did a side by side comparison between Konis and lesser shocks (like I have), you'd be shocked at the difference (just ask Randy who recently swapped out his). It's night & day, at least for me and him.

But at this point it's all talk and you're probably thinking "Eh, no big deal, I'll stick with my plan." To me, the difference is as great as mounting leadweight Chinese wheels and contrasting them with lightweight Japanese wheels - a very wide difference in the car's performance handling. But at least you have quality springs. 8)

Randy's quote:

redtwo wrote:Recently replaced my KYB AGX with Konis. what a difference. Had Konis in two previous cars, forgot how wonderful they were. For a little more money, you get a great riding car....

Yeah, I really do want the Konis, but I've spent a lot of money already. I'll most likely get them next winter. They're like what, $700 for a full set? Where are some good places to get them from? All I've seen is shox.com, any others?

twosrus.com, they usually have the best prices and if they don't they will at least match them. From time to time tirerack.com has them on sale as well. I got mine from twosrus on sale $600US.

How much is shipping usually? Cuz the last couple times I ordered the shipping price was pretty high.

If you order from twosrus and it's over a certain weight shipping is free in the states. Just create an account on the site, and go through the checkout to see the price.

He has yet to discover that you can send stuff to the border and pick it up yourself and save on shipping and self brokerage

Oh, also, where are some good places to get staggered wheels? I've tried discount tire, tirerack, and wheelfire, but I can't seem to find staggered 16s. Now my dream wheel setup is Work Meisters/SS SP1s/Volk TE37s in 17x7 and 17x8, but those wheels are too costly right now. I want something decently priced and good quality, and have always wanted Enkei wheels. Can't seem to find places that sell them staggered though, I want them in 16x7 and 16x8. Any help?
