No suicides, just a little extra brightness. My work lamps are in the storage locker.

Nope, that's the same one I've had for 13 odd years now.

You planning on making more and selling those clear toblerone side markers? I'd buy a couple in a heartbeat!

Also, is this the TRD shifter you got on eBay?

I didn't make the toblerones, and I still need to actually glue them onto the original mouldings.

That's not the exact shifter, but close enough.

Where did you pick up the clear side markers, or is it a secret? :P And I assume it's safe to buy that shifter, it's not gonna break into pieces right?

Nah, I don't want to be teasing you guys. There's a guy in the UK that goes by the name of wolfie308, or something similar. He sells them along with some clear replacement lenses for the tail lights. You can find him on mr2.com.

I'm sure the shifter will be fine. It usually comes with the drop plate, but you can just pick that up from twos'r'us or make your own.

I had the dash apart again and the cluster down to the circuit board to mess around with the tach... low and behold I've got it working, now I just need to get my dashhawk out to see what rpm it's actually idling at and reset my tach needle. Tonight I also changed the oil & filter, and replaced the front motor mount for one that is 100% urethane. My previous urethane filled stocker has about 3/8" play in it, front to back.

I had a metal gear shift knob once on a convertible.....cold as heck all winter long.....and too hot to use if I left the top down in the summer.

I'm glad that the motor mount is working well for you. Are you still planning on fabbing up an upper dogbone?

Yes the mount is working well. I'm surprised that I'm not feeling much difference as far as vibration goes. The dog bone is an idea that I'll mull around for a while, but yes, I would like to come up with something one of these days.
