Ya, well. I usually park close to the fence at work, but I neglected to see the two huge fucking bolts that stick out at the bottom and managed to clip them. I went home at lunch yesterday and took them off, chucked them in the Mazda and headed to Greens. They said that they are understaffed at the moment so it doesn't look like I'll get them back in time for the Revscene meet.

If it was just to bend it back then it might only take a few hours. I dropped off all four wheels for the full meal deal restoration.

I will have to wait for them to finish, but I suspect it will be about $1k.

My girlfriend's brother works at a local performance shop and was nice enough to bring it home yesterday for me to play with it.

It's great! You adjust the arm such that the red roller at the top is angled against the fender lip, and then you use the lever to apply pressure to the lip. You then manually roll it forward and back while slowly applying more pressure. Of course it's highly recommended to warm the paint with a heat gun beforehand to prevent the paint from cracking as the metal is stretched. The problem on an MR2 is that there's those mouldings in the way. The best way to do this would be to remove the rear one, and remove the vent.

Yeah there is almost no "fender " on the back of a 2. I think mine clears but I should roll it just to be sure.

Are you happy with the resto job, Russ? I'm procrastinating in sending down my Gram Lights... they need to be perfect before I put them on my car.
