I also managed to finish off another set of rear tires,

I also managed to blow the seals in my steering rack, and that resulted in pressurizing the inner tie rod boots, and then pissing fluid out on each turn, so rebuild time,

I rolled over 222,222 miles this year, that's 357,631 kilometers!

and get my A/C up and running after all these years. Turns out I just had to connect the lines and fill the system. I needed to have one of the lines custom made, but after that, it was no big deal.

As many of you know (and were there), I managed to get out to a couple bigger meets this year,

PSTOF - Puget Sound Toyota Owners Festival,

AJC 2017 - All Japanese Classic

and of course, one of the best, "2 The Beach". This was the 15th year for this event and it was perhaps the best one yet. It was nice to get a few new people down there, and we had just about the best weather in the history of the event.

Two Japanese guys asked me to stay after the show for a photoshoot, but I don't think it went anywhere,

I shit you not, a single day later I get a notification from instagram. My car is featured in the "World Option" section of the November 2017 issue!

Like I said elsewhere, I'm just the victim of a good deal. Now I need to figure out how to make this work!

So, the supercharger and the intake manifold are always sold as a pair. Before I laid down the $$$ for the SC I had to look around for a manifold that isn't available for sale. While looking around I found the website for BritishRacingGroup.com and they were doing a GTE (racecar) conversion and were selling only the manifold. I contacted them, but they had already sold it, so while searching lotustalk later that night I see their sale thread and they had sold the manifold to a friend of mine, who I know already has a complete SC setup. A few quick messages later and I've made a deal for the manifold and the SC.

Fast forward a couple weeks and I have the first test fit:

You can see there that the custom waterneck that Anthony welded up for me is super close to the throttle body, so, add that to the to-do list.

Beautiful work once again!

He was also able to add another boss and drill a port for future use.

Bosch 525cc injectors. OEM ones are 530cc and very expensive (lotu$)

Here's the SC assembly bolted in place; you can see that I've already started to prep the harness for some updates...

Getting a belt is a bit of a guessing game. I'm running AC, so I need one that's a little longer than otherwise. The P/N is was given is a little too short. I can make it fit, but that also means that I can't run the upper idler pulley, which would be nice for better belt wrap on the actual SC pulley. I'm also near the end of the travel of the stock belt tensioner. I've done some more research and I'm using a 107" belt, and I should be able to do 109, 110, 112, etc, etc
