1986 MR2 Project Car Free to good home

Hi Everyone

I have a complete 1986 Red Toyota MR2 auto trans project car to give to a good home that wants to restore it. I am not interested in parting it out or it being taken by someone that wants to part it out. I would like to be able to see it on the road again and owned by a serious enthusiast of MR2's. That's why I am putting on this board. So please don't contact me if you want it for anything other than a restoration project. If no one contacts me I may change my mind on this but hopefully someone wants it to restore.

Here are the details:
It has quite badly rusted rear quarter panels (typical) and a dented front drivers side fender, faded paint etc. and hasn't run for several years as it has been sitting in my driveway. The engine does turn over if you put in a working battery but it didn't start up for me. Old gas, oil and I am sure a number of other things are needed from sitting so long. There are a few other small things I can mention about if you come see it. From what i remember everything was working when it got parked. It certainly needs some TLC to get it road worthy again and will need to be towed out of here. I drove it last in 2004 and it was okay then to drive about in. The engine was rebuilt at 183,543kms. It has 230,248kms now. It was owned by my daughter and not driven hard by her.

So if you are serious in wanting a project car (winter is on its way) and willing to show it to me later on when you have it done up. Lets chat, post on here and send me a private message. For transfer papers may have to charge $1 or something to make it legal.
