FS: Bosch H4 housings and Piaa GT-X H4 bulbs

Postby ChrisZ » Thu Jan 29, 2009 4:28 pm

For Sale 2 Bosch H4 housings with new bulbs. Used but in very good condition, no clouding or major markings. They are glass so very durable. Comes with 2 Piaa GT-X bulbs. When I got them they were the brightest H4 lights I could find. Not sure how they stack up now but still pretty good I'm sure. They have a blue/purple tint to them. Fits MK1 and MK2 all models

Housings new are $60
Bulbs new are $100

Asking $40 for both.

I live in Victoria but will be on the mainland all next week, let me know if you want them.

do you have a pic of them on your car (lights on of course)...?
and those bulbs say HID...was just wondering if a ballast is needed to make those work? or are they like so bright that they're suppose to be comparable to HIDs...

No they don't require a ballast, they will bolt up to the stock plug.

I think most aftermarket bulbs advertise their "HID like" appearance these days. It also says on the package that it will make your car look like a BMW or Porsche.
