Looking for a set of 205/40/16 tires. I'd preffer a summer tire, but let me know if you've got some kicking around. I don't need a lot of tread just some cheap tires to last a few months till i have money to buy good ones.

Contact ANY Big O tire dealer; they carry used tires. You never know; you may luck out.

Thanks Giant Killer. I had acctually talked to him already and was all lined up to buy them, but he said when the tires where unmounted he found dry rot cracks...? I don't know what they are, but he said they're unsafe. Thanks Drscam, I didn't know Big O carried used tires. I just need them for before Friday.

You are welcome. They can also do search of their other stores' inventory and find out if they have used tires in this size.

They have a lrge warehouse in Chilliwack, BC as well. They will send the tires to the store location of your choice as well.

I guess 205/40/16 is a tough to find size, nobody has any, i guess i'll have to save up and get new ones.

Is it best to speak with Dan? I know i called and asked before for a quote and then mentioned the BCMR2 discount and the guy said it would be good for a few bucks but didn't really know.

I haven't found a set yet. I spoke with Dan at Volco and he said $114 plus tax a tire for 205/40R16 Kuhmo's. I think it comes out to about $520 for a set of 4 which isn't too bad.

Dan usually quotes prices mounted and balanced. This seems to be a fairly decent price then.
$119.99CDN plus shipping is their unmounted and unbalanced web price.
