What are Spyder Wheels going for these days?

Postby ChrisZ » Sun Feb 22, 2009 8:24 pm

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I didn't know where else to put it.

I'm going to have a set of mint wheels off my Spyder for sale with good condition tires however I have no idea what they are worth.

I know it's a popular mod for AW11s so I'm hoping one of you guys has bought them before and can PM me the price or give me an idea of what they are worth.

Thanks,
Chris

I've seen them on MR2oc and spyderchat, for anywhere from $350-500+USD for the staggered sets and it depends on the condition and type of tires.

Simply the best wheels on a MK1. They are the lightest Alloy wheels toyota has ever made! Russ do you know roughly how much they weigh? I heard 9lbs or something silly like that!
Chris you should weigh them if you have a scale. Cheers

i see them for 50 a wheel or even 100-200 a set down here but they are normally not mint, and no tires. how much tread and what kinda tires.

I have a set of the newer '03+ Spyder wheels on my MR2 for while, a classic great looking wheel upgrade for the AW11. Iirc, the front 15x7 are 14.5 pounds and the rear 16x7 are 15.8 pounds! What makes them light are its hollow spokes.
I miss Canada.. :(

Just so everyone knows, the deal on the rims I was getting didn't end up working out. I'll be rolling on these for a little while longer I guess.

Thanks to those who gave the info!
