We just received word that the new Twilight Drive-in WILL NOT be open in time for BC2005.
Though we are very disappointed, we understand the situation Jay at the Twilight is in and should explain that this is not his fault and stems from BC Hydro, the City of Langley, and Telus coordination issues. However, they will be open in the coming 1-2 weeks.
With this said, the BC2005 Planning Committee had planned for such an ordeal and is pleased to announce that after our Poker Run and "Chill Session" at the final pit stop, we will be driving back to Abbotsford to the Knight & Day Restaurant off Sumas Way for a all-you-can-eat buffet dinner.
Dinner will cost $15/head, which does include a fountain drink and will be payable at the door as you enter the establishment. It is not manditory to attend the buffet, but would be nice to have everyone together for some pics!
After dinner, we will be departing Abbotsford for a pre-destined mid-evening drive through the surrounding municipalities of Abbotsford, Surrey, Coquitlam, Port Moody, and Vancouver. People not wishing to take in the drive, will be led back to the hotel on our way to Downtown Vancouver.
The rest of the itinerary remains the same.
Again, we applogize for this, but it was well out of our control.
