Yes...You may just sign-up for the auto-X if you wish... Sorry to hear you won't be able to make the festivities...Hopefully you can join us after you get off work at our Saturday night events...As for signing up for 2 spots, please refrain on this for now until everyone else who SAID THEY WERE GOING TO SIGN UP has has a chance. If by Sunday, there are still spots available, I will contact those that have expressed interest in 2 spots personally.

As for the insurance...Don't worry about it for now...We are taking care of this on our end.

Maybe it should have been a sign that only the bare minimum voted yes to an autocross. If there had been 50 people voting yes and we had a 50% drop out factor then we'd still be golden. It's too bad, there is so much seat time to be had too.

Hey all;

We have recently updated the BC2005 Event Waiver that everyone is required to sign before they can participate in the Event. This waiver has now been proofed by a lawyer and by signing it, you will be removing all legal responsibilities and/or the ability to seek monetary funds from BCMR2.com or the Planning Committee should you do anything wrong at the Event (I know, pretty common stuff...But it had to be said and legally proofed).

With this said, the new waiver will lift the requirement for people to carry a minimum of $2Million Auto Liability Insurance on thier cars and will open up the auto-X to all that want to sign-up. That's right, as long as you can pass tech inspection, you can auto-X!!!!

If you are still serious about wanting it, please sign-up soon, as the Saturday, July 2nd deadline is coming fast!

Hey guys;

There is only 2 days left before we need to make a decision on what to do with the auto-X event at BC2005. We currently have 10 people signed up for this of the original 26...Where are you guys?

If you said "[You] are in!", then please register and make the numbers go up. If you can't remember if you are one of these people, an updated list of these people can be found here: http://www.bcmr2.com/forums/phpBB2/groupcp.php?g=808&sid=fc282086d72a3e8e4448ea7fe75bc8e3

If we don't get enough people in to cover the costs (ie. 26 auto-Xers), we may have to cancel this unless those that have signed up (and kept their word) are willing to pay more...

Thanks to Narfy (with 4 registrations for the auto-X), we are very close to our required numbers! :o

If the remaining 8 "I'm in!" people pay-up, this thing will be a go!

Is the autocross a go or not? It looks like we're close. I'll pick up another entry, just let me know.

We are a go!

As for extra spots, we are going to refrain from allowing people to take 2 or more spots until a week before the event....Stay tuned!

I think I just registered for the autocross but PayPal gave me a wierd error message. I'll check my transactions tomorrow. At any rate I will be there. :)

Yes, the autocross is a go, it's a proven design course from back before most of you had training wheels. Show up and do us all proud.
