good luck, the closest thing to an mr2 retailer here is kbox and he only sells seals kit. Canada doesn't have that kind of convenience like the murica has

and even if there was a Canadian retailer, they would be buying the parts from America, adding there margin and then selling it to you. At the end of the day you are best off waiting until you can find one used, or just ponying up the $$$ to get one from the States yourself.

Your only bet is buying overseas to try and beat the low Usa dollar.

The Cdn Dollar has struggled against Chinese currency as well, unless you can wait you'll have to choke back the cost. Expect the cost of used parts and good LHD cars to see a bit of an uptick as well.
