The brakes are apparently the Brembos from a Porsche 997....I can't wait to see them. I think that may be what I'm most excited for at this point....but again, I haven't seen the car yet, or a picture of it.

...and you don't live in the lower mainland where owning more than one car is a huge pain in the ass.

Even the rotors in WolfKatz's big brake kits require them to be removed too. :|

Since they're nothing but steel, wouldn't it be easy to weld on a patch to make them larger?

Fantastic Cam, what are you plans for the scrap?
Too bad It cannot be repaired, but at least the good parts can be used again.

I have a couple of ideas at the moment, but I want to see the car and evaluate the options when I get it. I don't want to transfer everything into my 95, just because I don't want to cut it up or modify it to that level. Financially, I really hadn't planned to buy the car and building a second car up will only cost me more.

Ideas:
1) Buy a clean shell, swap everything over. Happen to even know of a nice shell in Prince George! This would leave me with a really fun car and my 95 still intact as I want it. The downside would be, two twos means limited use for both, higher cost to do it.....but it would be pretty neat to have a fairly quick turbo, and a clean n/a. Hell, if I could convince Candace to drive one, when the boys were old enough they would each have their own passenger seat in an MR2.

2) Cherry pick a few parts and put them onto my 95 and sell off the rest. The tough part is where do you draw the line and there aren't a lot of parts from what I understand that will keep the 95 stock ish. I also worry that only using half of the parts would be either overkill, or half assed and not an all around good build.

3) Part the entire thing out and use the funds from it to finish off my 95 exactly how I want to and buy myself an FJ45 !

Well sounds easy but it's way more complicated then that.
It's not the larger size but actually fitment in the knuckle.

Any how they are in place for a reason. And every car on the road has them. So obviously removing them isn't a brilliant idea. But it's not the first time I have seen a company make an aftermarket part for a car that wasn't correct. Or for the race track only

I'd pop for this option, except for the FJ45 part (had to Google it, didn't even know what that was :P )

Realistically that's probably the option I'll go.

And really, even if I sold all 3 cars, I still couldn't afford a decent FJ45
