I actually couldn't believe it when someone wanted to buy one of the two I had a while ago. Then again, I actually see a '91 transmission for sale on this board, too... mine is sitting in a pile of snow because that's all I thought a used '91 tranny was worth!

Some of favourite MR2s are with these wings, so don't hate! 8)
Nothing's wrong with the earlier transmissions either, the only difference if I remember correctly is that 1-2 of the gears have dual syncros. They are still as bullet proof as the newer ones.

and that in '93 there was the option of the viscous differential.

Sure, mine has one! I'm just surprised to see people buying them. I also have a '91 transmission, but I know that they're way more likely to have worn synchros when looking at a used one.
