Oops, i guess i should check back here more often.

Thanks, i might take you up on that, for now i have other fish to fry, more coolant problems again.

This time i cant see the hose it is coming from, somewhere around the waste-gate, but there are about 8 hoses intersecting around that area.

And everything was going so well...

Thanks Cam,

Well, i have dug out a couple hoses, and i think that maybe the problem is a couple of nipple type things that come out of "water outlet" part # 16331 in the previously posted parts diagram from cam.

(Pardon the rusty explosion  )
Image

There are 2 of these that splice the connection between the hose and the aluminum (i think) water outlet. This one is disintegrating, and I imagine the other one isn't much better.

The problem is i cant seem to find a part number for these little nipples, i would rather not buy the entire "water outlet" if i don't have to.

Anyone have any idea what the parts number is for these things?

Thanks
Nick

Yeah, 16331 is the part, i guess the sleeves that rusted out are not sold as separate parts.

Anyone have a spare 16331 kicking around? ;)

Cool, i emailed you back about this.

I am crossing my fingers because i called toyota to see how long it would even take to ship one in and it turns out this part is discontinued by Toyota canada and I'm thinking it will take awhile to get one from the good ol internet.

:BangHead:

Edit: turns out i was wrong about the part number, even though that's the # i see on the parts diagram. the part number (i think) is actually 16304-88385

Yes the parts picture number are not the same oem Toyota number.

You should really make sure the top piece is ok as well.

But I'm sure 100 people on here can say ordering from the states is the only way.
But if you need it ASAP it changes things

I scoped out the top part it looks like its still pretty solid.

Yeah, the only place i could find it online was in the states. I guess if no one local has one im SOL. Did you have time to see if you had one kicking around?

Maybe i should post a WTB and see if anyone else on the forums has an extra one thats in decent shape.
