I just wanted to keep a post up here for all the MR2 owners and fans so everyone knows that there is a monthly coffee meet in Victoria.



When: The 1st Thursday of every month @ 7:00pm

It's an MR2 meet!? Just as always, everyone is welcome.

I'll have to try to get that night off work, I'm usually here until 8...

We're meeting this Thursday, May 1st.

how has the turnout been at the coffee meets?

They were good while I was on the island in the summer.

do they have a website or is it like a mailing list

They have a mailing list. I've added Trevor's email to the original post, he's the go to guy for the Victoria club.

There are always MR2 coffee meets in Victoria on the first Thursday of every month. I'm almost always there along with a few hard core owners still very much into their cars. It's not a big turnout like it used to be, but we're always open to new members and it's always free. The club has been known as the Vancouver Island MR2 Owner's Club is very unofficial and there's no fees or executive group or obligations. Just show up and chat, and go for drives every so often. We like going for cruises up island when the weather is nice. There's an email list for monthly reminders about the coffee meets and we generally use this site to keep in touch with other local, and not so local MR2 peeps.

If any of you owners are interestes we have started up an All Japanese Import meet on Thursday nights at Starbucks on Jacklin Road out in Langford. See map for location:

We are trying to slowly build this up to be an event much like the Classic Cars and HotRods currently have, and for those that don't want to go to the RS meets at Timmies by Save On Foods Friday nights. We started this up (WRX and S2000 Crews) about five weeks ago and hopefully by the time the warm weather and more light comes around it should be a half decent event.
