I'd have to agree w/ driving during the day.
WHen I was coming back from LA w/ my buddies. Night driving was the worst.
The lines on the roads ends up looking like poles in the road.

And coming back thru Southern Oregon (North California area) is just dreadful.

Well we lost out on our rooms and the discount just as they said we would. -- If you already reserved a room then you are okay --- I tried to get the deal extended. They only had 70 rooms left in the hotel. They have gone back up to the regular cost. There is so much going on in Vegas that weekend that everywhere is selling out fast. So if you are waiting I would suggest not doing that.

I seriously tried every trick in the book to get them to extend the deadline to the 5th. Even just extending the fare relief, but that was an instant no go. sorry.

I also want to remind you that you will not be eligible for the prize drawings at the banquet without registering for the event. All event registrants will have an official event button. This will have a number on it. We draw numbers for the prizes. You must show your button to get a prize. We are going to have some pretty awesome prizes too!

Dinner. I need to have you guys that are thinking of attending the banquet to please sign up. I need to have a number to give the hotel. After the dinner we will be giving away the prizes, trophies and medals, and listening to me ramble on about how great the MR2 is. So please sign up since I really do need to know how many are showing up.

I want to again stress that this event is not just open to show cars. I want all MR2s there, unlike other car events our meets are about the people and the cars. The people are what make our events great, as anyone that has attended any of the east coast meets would know. I want to see those beat up MK1s and those clapped out MK2s. Even those totally stock Spyders and 14" wheeled ST165s! Even if you have stretched the truth about what your car is or isnt, who cares... wait until you see my 600hp MK1! This will not just be a meet... it will be an event!
