Jan 31 - ClubRSX Organized Meet @ Spanish Banks

Postby Frosty » Fri Jan 09, 2004 11:22 am

Hey guys,

It's Ambrose from over at ClubRSX coming to invite BCMR2 to our next meet.
Other clubs that have been invited are Club Integra, EP Hatch, and I think Team Celica... but TC doesn't really like us.

The details are here:
http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.ph ... did=128109

Date: Jan 31, 2004
Time: 10:30am - Whenever
Location: Spanish Banks

I realize it's probably going to be a little chilly, but it still should be good. We should have a barbeque, get a volleyball game going, I'm sure some people will be mental enough to do a polar bear swim.

Afterwards we can always split off to do cruises and lunch/dinner somewhere.

Hope to see some of you out there.
If you got friends, it's pretty much open to anyone.

Yeah, usually when there's something crazy and weird I'm usually behind it, but you can thank pee-wee for coming up with the idea of a beach meet.

I'm sure we'll just do a few photos, get to know each other, then find a nice big restaurant 8)

I'm game. Not sure about the polarbear swim, but otherwise, sounds like good times. Who's giving me a ride though? Can't bear the thought of showing up to a meet driving a honda.

Why not? Who makes the RSX? This is their meet. Maybe Cam can dig out the yellow bananna depending on weather... Summer Tires on winter road conditions would suck.

maybe we a place should be decided on before we go. that would prevent us finding out on the day of that no place has room to feed 40+ people together

I think I'll make it out. Although I will have to give in and drive the 'H-car'.

That would be smart, I've got to see if someone is bringing out a bbq.
And I guess we've also got to see if the weather will permit a bbq.

I got another guy saying he'll set up a canopy, so I'll have to confirm on that too.

When RS set up a Spanish Banks meet in the early spring last year...it was too cold and windy for a BBQ and most of the people left early or ended up at white spot.

Something to think about.
