I am pleased to announce the confirmed dates for the 2015 13th Annual "2 The Beach" Extravaganza Ocean Shores, WA.
This years meet will be held on the weekend of September 11-13th. This year the meet is being held about 1 week earlier than usual due to Hotel availability.

More information will become available throughout the months.

The Hotel will start taking reservations as soon as they finish getting our reservation block in their system.

Reservations can be made by calling the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino directly at 1-888-461-2214. make sure to tell them that you are with the MR2 Northwest group rate. The rates for this years meet are the same as last year. No room rate increase this year for once The rates are as follows. Wetland View at $119 and Ocean View at $129. This is a discount of $40-50 per night from their regular rates. Remember when booking that they will charge for any extra occupants in the room. I advise getting with other members to share rooms making the price cheaper. Remember that the hotel will only require a credit or debit card on file to make a reservation and you do not pay anything until you check out of the hotel. So make those reservations as soon as you know if you can make it out this year.

If this will be your first year attending, know that this is a Fri-Sunday weekend event. We have 2 huge bon fires on the beach Friday and Saturday night, a show and shine and a big drive on Saturday, finished by breakfast and departure on Sunday morning.

Hands down this is the best MR2 meet in the PNW you will ever go to and we typically see numbers of 75-120 people in attendance.

Which route you guys taking? Ferry to Port Townsend?

It depends on what time Sonja is able to leave that day. If, like last year she has to work a full day then we are leaving here around 3:30 and most likely taking the Port Townsend ferry. If she can get the day off then we will probably take I5 and leave early enough that we go through Seattle after rush hour, and before lunch.

I'm thinking of doing Port Townsend down Friday and I5 coming home on Sunday when there should be less traffic. I'll probably make reservations if I do the ferry just to make sure I get on.
