I am going to throw out 2 dates for you guys to think about.

June 29th & 30th
July 13th & 14th

The pass will for sure be clear of snow, and probably a guaranteed bright and sunny day on the east side.

I have done my research and apparently the Virginian hotel where the group has stayed before, is the only place left in Winthrop that will rent for 1 night anymore, unless you rent out a house. The Virginian is the cheapest place in Winthrop as well which works out. It is not the most up to date place there is, but it will have to do.

They offer a room for about $69 and they also rent out little cabins as well for more $ Their most expensive room is around $99

Check that out and also please Vote for one of the dates below. Think ahead for business trips, weddings, vacations and work that may get in the way and then vote please.

We will be doing the full loop from Arlington to Winthrop to Chelan to Wenatchee to Leavenworth and then back over Stevens Pass. Overnight trip for sure.

You have expressed interest in the NCD 2013 Winthrop drive this year.

The date will be Sat-Sun June 29-30th With overnight stay in Winthrop Washington On sat the 29th.

There is only one hotel left in Winthrop that allows one night reservations on the weekends. That is the Virginian

It is not the nicest place in the world but it is also the place that this drive has stayed at in the past.

It is very important that you call them at 1-800-422-3048 or 1-509-996-2148
And Book a reservation. Some of you may want to group up and share rooms etc. Call them and tell them you need a reservation under the "MR2 Group"

I reserved 10 rooms for us and they are the following

(4) Value Room w 2 Queen beds $69
(3) Value Room w 1 Queen Bed $69
(3) Better quality room with 1 Queen Bed $79

The hotel has more expensive options up to $89 and 99$ including small cabins, king size beds and bigger double queen rooms. If you wish to spend more money to get a different room than please do so as you wish. Just remember this is the only hotel in Winthrop that will reserve you for one night.

please remember that it will cost you no money Zero Zip 0000.000$ to book a room today! They do not charge you for the room until 2 days before the event which will be June 27th. Please call and reserve a room immediately because they will not hold onto the 10 rooms for us forever.

Please confirm back with me if you are going to attend and if you have booked your room. I will post the list of people going on the original thread so you guys can bunk up if you need. Currently I have my own double queen bedroom and am open to having a bunk mate.

FYI, the hotel will only be holding our group block open for 1 more week. next Wed March 13th, they will be releasing the rest of the rooms to the public.

If you have even a thought that you may want to come on this drive, you better get a room reserved today. Like i said before, this is the only place in Winthrop, WA that will reserve for 1 night stay. All other hotels have a 2 night minimum stay.

Remember it costs no money to reserve a room, so what do you have to lose? There has been a lot of interest in this drive but only a few reservations made so far.
