The Whidbey meet is historically organized by the PNW group. If nothing is in the works then maybe we can make something happen later this year.

Some of us have been talking about a late spring run to Tofino
tis does mean a ferry trip for us mainlanders and a overnight there but the roads and the views along the way are fantastic. then there is long beach..

Thoughts members?

i often wondered why we don't do many island runs, other than the ferry ride being a pain/expense but yeah i'd be interested.

Execs have been talking about a Tofino Event for some time now, as most already know. Next year we are going to have a two to three day Tofino-Run. No idea as of when this will go down, but you will all be notified far in advance.

That's exactly why. We've encountered quite a bit of resistance in the past for this. The ferry is going to cost you ~$100 round trip. I've started looking into it for next summer, so if enough people are interested it could happen.

I think it would be a fantastic run, but not many people would attend. The cost of hotels for the night are high, the ferry is expensive, its for sure a 2 day event, you have to worry about traffic (if school is out you'll have minivans and soccer moms all over the place), but if you go in too bad of the off season it will be pouring down rain. This all being said, I really want to go as well.

I was just thinking about this thread the other day:

Exec's are starting to plan things for next year. If you have any suggestions or anything you want to see next year nows the time to mention it!
