i bought this car off here (dori) and had plans for it but things have changed and i need to buy something cheaper and pay off a loan with the rest

-1986 toyota corolla sr5
-grey with black interior (great cond)
-half gutted from drivers seat back (have all interior)
-20XXXX km's on body
-10-20k on engine
--rebuilt
--port/polished
-rear lowering springs
-front coilovers
-new brakes
-15 inch riken mesh rims
--good tread on tires left
-gts engine swap
-new clutch

-tien camber plates in mail a little extra for them

*needs to be timed
*few minor things
*one spot of rust on the whole car its in great cond

very nice AE86...even thou a SR5 is a AE85... but i guess w/ the 4A-GE dropped in it makes it a AE86

i myself is looking for a AE86 down the road... well until the Initial D tax dies off(those who watched iD should know)

Please remember the seller has posted firm by his price and the picture shows the body of the car is in great shape. As well these RWD corollas are very popular and desirable cars.

If you are looking for a winter beater then a FWD corrola would be more in the price range you posted

very nice AE86...even thou a SR5 is a AE85... but i guess w/ the 4A-GE dropped in it makes it a AE86

your statement above is sorta redundant... AE86 refers to both SR5 and GTS models...

however, an AE86 SR5 with a 4A-GE in it does NOT make it a GTS...

you'll need to also find
complete brake to brake GTS rear end with a 4.30 final drive and disc rears...
e-brake cables
proportioning valve
front bumper, lip, and side pieces (time to go JDM bumpers yo!)
complete interior (SR5 interiors were vinyl and they ALL suck)
engine bay harness
engine harness
dash harness
rear body harness
charcoal canister
gas tank
fuel lines (all 3)
front and rear springs (dampers are the same)
speedo/tach cluster
washer bottle
coolant reservoir

*this list goes on about 3x as long as it is... GTS's and SR5s share only the body... an SR5 to GTS conversion is a shell up build... and i been there, done that... and lived to tell about it...

if you want a GTS, buy a GTS...

its easily driveable and could make it to vancouver with no problem at all , i drive it around its just it has a hard time idleing sometimes at low speeds
