Is this still available? Will this fit an AW11? I noticed the SW20 and AW11 have different threads.

Are you sure. My TRD knobs (both the ball and the tall one) fit on both my '85 & my '94, as well as my '93 Celica.

I've tried my SW20 (has 93+ lever) shift knob on my 88 and my 88 has a much thicker thread. Can anyone else confirm?

they should all be interchangeable.I've been swapping OEM/TRD knobs between '87,'89,'91 and '93 levers
you just have to be careful to get the threads started straight because
the OEM/TRD knobs all have a nylon/plastic insert that sometimes gets cross threaded which makes it feel
like they don't fit.
Try turning it counter-clockwise slowly without any pressure on the knob and you should feel it drop onto the threads
when it lines up. then it should spin onto the first few threads with virtually no effort before it begins to tighten up
If the insert itself has been cross threaded you can clean it up with a bottoming tap
( I think it's 10 x 1.25 but might be 12 x 1.25, can't remember offhand)
