anyone put on race seats for the mk1? and also 3/4 pt harnesses?? if so any one know where a good place to mount/bolt the harnesses?

I've seen it done a few times, but I'm not sure about the seat rails. I don't think that there is anything commercially available. You'd have to fab your own. For a harness the best place to mount it is to a roll bar/cage or at the least a harness bar. Again, your looking at custom stuff or the Autopower bolt in.

I have made a custom mounting rail for a MKI forget what seat name it was.
Momo or some high end bucket shell..

There is no limit to what I can make other then your imagination

Sorry I don't have any pictures of the install...

from now on i just go find u and just let u install everything... its soo hard to find stuffs for this car... seats are easy to find ... but puttin them on and the harness its just hard!!! :(

my bro installed a racing FX racing seat with a 5 point harness. looked pretty sweet (MKI)

Just a update on this thread..
Here is the actual seat that I made custom mounting rail for a sparco.
Using a old MKI seat rails so that seat can still be adjusted front and back

seat works well for the customer as it is custom made for him.

I can't even drive it my knees turn the wipers and turn signals on
