I know Jeff (Kungfoocop) has done this. Otherwise you can try

Ambassador Upholstery Restoration
1480 Boundary, Burnaby, BC V5K4V3
(604) 291-9312
(604) 291-9312 (fax)

They should give BCMR2 10-15% just mention my car.

They do a fabulous job and they will recommend how you should proceed and will give you an estimnate on the spot as they do all work from their shop.

CST (US) can sell you skins for the MR2 you choose colours and options:

Katskin also has kits for the MR2

Both are skins which need to be istalled one factory leather has been removed.

Once you have purchased the skins...you could either install it or have Ambassador do it for approx $200-$250

From what I have read, I believe the only difficulty is with rings under the seat that need to be cut and changed. You can manufacture a tool to do this or purchase one from wherever you buy the skins.

Skins are very effective and should cost approx $400-$600USD depending on options you choose. There may be a GB on the IMOC.

There's Trim Up Auto, I believe it's like $300 per seat. I myself am waiting for a group buy on some CST or Katzkins because when they have group buys, the price dips down to like $350USD and it comes with new seat covers, MR2 or TRD embroidered in the headrests and new door panel covers...

The last GB for CST was $450 shipped and did not include any embroidery. I will keep you posted if I see any upcoming GB's for skins.
