Test fitting 2 types of different seats into the mk2

Postby Oteck » Sat May 21, 2016 11:53 am

I made 2 new seat rail adapters to fit both the BRZ and S2k into the mr2, made it as much pnp as possible and retain all their knobings and trims.
The s2k is nice as it's much lighter and is more helmet friendly than the BRZ which is much heavier thanks to it's steel frame.
There still abit more work until I hand over the S2k to Han but if theres any interest i'll start a group buy

Hit me with a reply for both of the types.

I was very comfortable when I sat in Andrew's BRZ seats (which are not full leather iirc). I didn't actually drive around in the BRZ seats though. I also want to try S2k seats since I've been hearing good things about them ever since I joined the forums. Another option I'm open to are Recaro SRD seats, great reviews as well for these guys as well.

I don't particularly recommend the BRZ if your on the tall side, they sit higher than stock only if your 5-8 under
