MR2 OEM(?) Cupholder worth?

The Alpine headunit that came with the car is really outdated. I've read that the coin/cup holder is kinda rare so I was thinking of maybe buying a double din unit with nav and iPod support. I was just wondering if anyone knew how much the cup holder would be worth?

I've also considered just buying a newer single din unit that has iPod support and keeping the current setup...

Not worth it in my opinion. I'd like to have a cupholder, but the OEM one is way too expensive.

Sorry I re-read what i posted and I didnt make it clear that as is I have a single din alpine unit (9835 i believe) and the OEM cup holder combo.



Im still trying to decide weather I want a double din unit with nav or keep the current setup with a newer iPod compatible head unit. Part of me wants to keep it as is cause i know not many people have it haha.

haha, that's a cupholder from a Ford Taurus. It's value is maybe $5?

I paid $80 for mine a few months ago from someone on this board. He told me they can go for twice as much which I believe it since I've never actually seen one in person until I bought it off him. $80 for a rare part that I really needed was a good deal for me. I doubt I'd pay $160 but it is nice to put my pop cans in!!

i love the double din touch screen sat nav. totally awesome mines an alpine unit, with the bluetooth, dvd, video in, video out, sat radio, i pod connection (really sophisticated, i can watch utube on my head unit) and many other options I just ask for drink trays at drive thru's
