Telescopic Steering column

So i was part diggin with 4AG (david) and plucked out a telescopic jdm steeering column. I had some issues but now it's solved. i had to keep the jdm stalk due to the trim cover not fitting right with the USM. Best part is it will retain my power steering as it has the sensor for the motorized fog lamps (same one

only on jdm mr2's. it's pretty nifty but i may go back to stock

Not nifty enough to keep? How far does the steering stalk come out/go in?

fully extended it's the same w/o telescopic. It just has more of an ability to push the wheel further in
