At the risk of embarassing Cam, I too have to say he's the guy when it comes to my 2, or any car really. He's also taking care of my wife's Civic.

Your kudos to Cam don't surprise me at all, Heeter.

Nice work, Cam.

Cam has always been there for me, no matter which car I take to him.

Thanks Carmen

Well your questions aren't silly...
They are questions because you don't know and that's what this board is here for.
Not everyone has been in the automotive field for 16-17 years like myself.
So it can be understood you would want to ask questions so you can make the right decision.

As I'm sure most people are aware I just tell it like it is. Even if it means that i will not get a 5000.00 job.
Like in Carmen's situation her car needs alot of TLC. I advised her that possibly making a list of con's pro's about fixing the car vs buying a new car. Might be a good idea before going ahead with the repairs on the car.

Unfortunately there are many people in the industry that would just tell her she needs a clutch. When the engine was on the ground inform her that all of a sudden 2000 more repairs are required.

You won't find another automotive technician like Cam anywhere else. They just don't exist. This club is so lucky to have him as our technician.

Carmen,

If you decide not to repair it... I can assist you with a new/used car. Give me a call. Hopefully the repairs are not extensive as it would be a shame to lose such a sweet ride. Russ's All-Trac is for sale though.
