91turbo loud bang then no start. Stranded

Up island at the moment. I was driving and hit boost and then bang. Engine died, I pulled over and let her cool down. She wants to start but won't. I couldn't see any hoses or pipes loose but thought I'd get random internet thoughts while I wait for a mechanic in this little town of parksville.

Could be anything. As long as the engine still rotates and there are no connecting rods on the ground it's probably not catastrophic.

Distributor cap popped off mid drive..all fixed.
