Good mechanics in the Van area?

Postby todzilla » Sun Jan 18, 2015 2:32 am

That pretty much covers it! I live in the city and am looking for a trusty wrencher to tend to whatever I can't - or aren't allowed to in my complex!

It's a '94 JDM MR2 with 160K's. I'm thinking it may need some looking at as it's doing a few things I'm unfamiliar with, this being my first MR2. First Toyota, actually! =) (In particular, a 'whiney' sound that increases when you bring the revs up...sounds like a supercharger type thing...I'm thinking my alternator's on its way out? Or a improperly adjusted belt? And I fear my shocks/struts may be worn. That kinda stuff)

Other than this, she starts an runs flawlessly and gets pretty decent mileage, considering the weight of my foot ;)

Cheers!

Oh, and if nobody in the city, maybe Bby or Rmd?

Thanx, I've seen that, and I have tried to utilize his services, but he seems too busy to be able to help me out. I was hoping there was someone else or even a dealer that won't bend me over?

You can try my dad; his mechanics have had lots of recent experience with MK2s ever since I started bringing my lump there to fix and modify lol. He's in Richmond, located behind IKEA.

Hit me up with a PM and I'll try to hook you up :)
