Quick, where to buy a car battery?

Postby LittleDragon » Mon Jul 01, 2013 7:55 pm

Tried to fire up the car yesterday and the battery was dead. This battery lasted about 5 years. I need to pick one up tomorrow if I want to make Wednesday's meet. Don't need any fancy pants battery, the car is driven less than 5 times a year and it's on a trickle charger the rest of the time. Kinda reluctant going back to crap tire, their batteries never fit right. The width is about 1.5" too short and not tall enough for the tie bar to hold it down properly. Suggestions?

If I remember right, an OEM battery from Toyota is $105, and the ones from Cambodian Tire and such are $120 or so.

hmm... guess I'll check with the dealer tomorrow for pricing and if it's in stock. I always thought OEM batteries are towards the $200 range. If they don't have stock, I guess it's crap tire. I've heard good things about Costco batteries, one came with my car but I don't feel like renewing my membership for a battery.. lol... I don't shop there enough.

I went with an 84 month Toyota battery. I picked it up while we were down south for Toyotafest.
